Hero gear upgrade priority

Only gear your main march of three — infantry health first, then archer/cavalry lethality.

Main march only

Pick your top 3 heroes (the march you lead in Bear Hunt, Castle, championships). Reset or ignore gear on everyone else — joiner gear does not apply; only the rally starter’s gear counts.

Build three sets:

  1. Infantry set
  2. Archer set
  3. Cavalry set

Upgrade order

First

  1. Infantry Health — armor & gloves
  2. Archer Lethality — helmet & boots
  3. Cavalry Lethality — helmet & boots

Push these toward high XP / forgehammer ranks before spreading thin.

Next

  1. Infantry Lethality (helmet/boots)
  2. Archer Health (armor/gloves)
  3. Cavalry Health (armor/gloves)

Why this order

Infantry holds the line; archers and cavalry convert damage. Spreading forgehammers across 10 heroes is the most common early mistake.
